Teaching English in India

          Teaching and learning of English is now a formal affair in India.But the problem of English teachers are quite different from those of the teacher of mother tongue.
           How can one learn easily?
Only without strain or pressure.Mother tongue is taught without causing any strain.English language teachers also do the same in the classroom to achieve desired goals without causing much strain to the pupils.
           Firstly, Teacher tries to release the fear of learners. Learning of mother tongue is of total natural environmental condition on the contrary, teaching of English language depends upon the experimental condition of the school.
           Teaching and learning have been changed in those days so Teachers have to be creative and to be up-to-date. He/she makes use of up-to-date material and methods with accuracy to achieve desired goals. Teacher should design various activities creatively to develop four abilities of learners. That activities should be based on the level and interest of learners which will be helpful to create natural atmosphere in the classroom.
             To create natural environment ,teacher has to create English ecology( natural atmosphere for English language.) So he/she has to establish English laboratory in school with full of Charts,Magazines,Newspapers,realia, audio-visual material,books, Internet,Online library etc. to attract learners to learn English in natural environment and to pave the way to their emotions and feelings in English language.
             Teachers have to play the role of just provider,organizer,facilitator and designer to stimulate learners to learn by their own.
